Biography

Shahriar Kabir is a Bangladeshi entrepreneur, developer, and author born on 27 September 2009 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. At 16 years old, he is the founder and core developer of Gravitrix (gravitrix.app), an AI-powered IELTS and education preparation platform featuring a real-time 3D AI examiner, RAG-calibrated writing evaluation, and comprehensive mock tests across all four IELTS modules.

From the beginning, his vision was much bigger than just another IELTS tool — to create an ultimate education platform where students learn through 3D animated, interactive virtual tutors: companions who teach languages, academic subjects, and life skills in a way that feels alive. A place where studying stops being boring or frustrating and becomes something students actually look forward to — a personal assistant, a mentor, and a friend, all in one.

Shahriar is a winner of the New York Times Student Contest (2025) and a National Math Olympiad winner in Bangladesh. His work in education technology has been formally recognized by iDEA Bangladesh — the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy under the ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh.

He is also the published author of "A Cursed Classroom" — an e-book exposing systemic failures in Bangladesh's education system, which received approximately 5,000 downloads on Amazon KDP before being controversially removed from its original platform. That experience only strengthened his resolve and became one of the main reasons he decided to build Gravitrix. He is additionally the founder of Anikoto — a free anime streaming platform he created simply because he loves anime and wanted those who cannot afford paid subscriptions to still enjoy the stories that mean so much to so many.

Shahriar began building Gravitrix in March 2026 after witnessing students pay hundreds of dollars for IELTS coaching that delivered recycled content. He taught himself every technical skill required — full-stack development, AI integration, 3D interface design — and launched a complete platform in under 3 months with zero budget. Building it demanded knowledge he didn't have. He failed many times. But he never gave up.

His mission as an entrepreneur is unambiguous: education must be free for everyone. Every subscription on Gravitrix is priced only to cover API and infrastructure costs, with a portion directed to charity — supporting underprivileged children's schooling and people with disabilities (blind, deaf, and others) across Bangladesh. Free premium access is provided to village schools where students cannot afford exam registration fees.

“If you can’t change the system, build a better version of it with all the fixes.”

— Shahriar Kabir

If you have decided something in the depths of your heart and you truly mean it — nothing can stand in your way. Trust yourself completely. Because this is exactly how human beings are made: to rise, to fight, and to turn the impossible into reality.

— Shahriar Kabir

Never give up until it is over.

This is not just a project. This is my promise.
